First Hunan International Student Printmaking Exhibition

Changsha Normal University

The opening ceremony for The First Hunan International Student Printmaking Exhibition occurred on Saturday morning of 7 June. This show had been curated by Liu Jing, Director of Fine Art at Changsha Normal University and was held at one of three enormous galleries at CNU. It included prints by students from Aberystwyth, Olympia in USA and the three Changsha colleges that I had visited during the two weeks of my stay including Changsha Central South University, the art school at Hunan University of Science and Technology in Xiangtan and Changsha Normal University.

Prints from Aberystwyth included work by: Tom Voyce, Ruth Jen Evans, Stuart Evans, Ben Partridge, Elysia Womersley, Rosemary Fahimi, Natasha Wilson, Holly Whittaker, Amie Haslen, Gwen Bramley, Ousama Lazkani, Sarah Poland, and Carly Donna Evans (see below)
